POST-EDITING

The business world is more and more often using automatic translation systems (Google Translate, Systran, etc). 
The resulting translations can be compared in a very limited way to the translations of professional translators. For example, verbs might disappear or a positive connotation might become negative in one of these automatic translations.

Because of this, it is usually necessary to revise these automatically generated translations. This revision process is called ‘post-editing’.
